Organise The Chaos and Categorise With Tags

Managing multiple forecasts can be challenging, especially when dealing with various versions, departments, or forecasting scenarios. Forecast 5's Tag feature offers a simple yet powerful solution to organise and categorise your forecasts, enhancing your workflow efficiency.

What Are Forecast Tags?

Tags are customisable labels that you can assign to your forecasts to distinguish them by area, version, state, or any other criteria that suits your organisational needs. This feature allows you to group and filter forecasts, making it easier to locate and manage them within the system.

How to Use Tags in Forecast 5

Open a Forecast: Navigate to the forecast you wish to tag.

Assign a Tag: Click on the forecast name next to the orange arrow. In the Tag box, enter the desired word or number.

Repeat for Other Forecasts: Assign tags to other forecasts as needed to group them accordingly.

Group by Tags: From the New/Open screen, click the Tag column and drag it into the grouping area to view your forecasts organized by tags.

By following these steps, you can efficiently categorise and manage your forecasts, streamlining your forecasting process.

Utilising tags in your forecasting process can significantly enhance your ability to manage and analyse multiple forecasts, leading to more informed decision-making and improved financial planning.
